August: 6th-11th, August 28th
We Retest Negatives
Covid-19 Update, August 27th, 2020
In light of being fully transparent, we were notified today that an employee tested was positive for Covid-19. The employee’s last shift was on Sunday, August 23rd, 2020, were not in "close" contact (as defined by the Monroe County Health Dept. and CDC) with anyone at the Irish Lion. They met all criteria during the Covid-10 pre-shift screening, no temperature, were masked and asymptomatic. The Irish Lion is following all Monroe County Health Department regulations and recommendations. They will remain in isolation for the recommended 10 days, and must be fever free before returning to work. While not required by the health department in order to return the work, we require retesting. As a precaution, the staff will be retested this month.
All staff complete a Covid-19 health screening prior to each shift. It includes a temperature reading and a series of Covid-19 CDC & Monroe County Health Department recommended questions. Any staff who are symptomatic, have fever or do not meet Covid-19 screening criteria, do not work.
