Staff Covid-19 Testing
We Retest Negatives
Covid Update: July 13th, 2020
After hearing of positive Covid-19 tests in fellow Bloomington restaurants and bars, The Irish Lion wanted to be proactive. Even though we’ve had no positive Covid-19 reports since the onset of the pandemic, on Monday, July 13th, we requested that all staff be tested as a precaution.
The safety and well-being of our guests and staff is our top priority. The Irish Lion will notify the staff, the Monroe County Health Department and the Bloomington community if there is a positive test.
We at The Irish Lion are committed to providing a safe environment to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. The Irish Lion staff will be tested for Covid-19 on an ongoing basis. Testing dates will be posted in the entryway of The Irish Lion and on this website.
Outdoor seating is available in The Glen and front patio, and we remain at 50% capacity for dine-in. Contact-free temperature checks for all dine-in guests and contactless delivery, to-go and reserved curbside pickup options are also available.
Our Covid-19 safety measures, employee screening, PPE, social distancing and sanitation procedures, may be found below.
All staff complete a Covid-19 health screening prior to each shift. It includes a temperature reading and a series of Covid-19 CDC & Monroe County Health Department recommended questions. Any staff who are symptomatic, have a fever or do not meet Covid-19 screening criteria, do not work.
(A toast, meaning health and long life to you)
